The Kingdom Of Heaven Belongs To Such As These

Tonight I went to dinner with a couple who teach at a Christian international school here in Lisbon. The couple have four students, originally from Nepal, who attend their school. These student's families run restuarants and it was at one of these restuarants that we dined. Three of the four students have received Jesus as their Savior though their families are Hindu.

People in Nepal, just like India, are labeled according to a caste system. Before they moved to Portugal, these children's families came from the 3rd level caste (merchants, business people, etc). When asked what caste they'd be a part of upon their return to Nepal; none was the answer. Christians do not exist. They are lower than the lowest caste position. With that knowledge fully understood in their minds, two of the children want to return to Nepal one day as missionaries. That my friends, left me speechless.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."
